Community Projects

The owners and employees of Lisa's Clover Hill Quilts believe that everyone is called upon to help others within the community.  Whether we choose to give our time, our treasure, or use our talents, each of us should seek opportunities to give back to the communities in which we live.

Lisa's Clover Hill Quilts is proud to host community service projects throughout the year.  We offer serious quilters and casual sewers the opportunity to use their talents in a variety of ways.  Projects are usually announced quarterly through our newsletters and will now appear on our web site.  Service projects can be completed at our shop typically in a group setting or on your own if you prefer.  Each project is demonstrated so that everyone has the opportunity to learn how to make the articles for that particular project.

For group projects held at our shop, Lisa provides a pot of homemade soup and various sweets to those in attendance.  The shop projects are a lot of fun and very gratifying for those who participate.  Being part of the team that makes the creations is a social event unto itself and well worth participating.

Lisa's Clover Hill Quilts provides the fabric and thread necessary to complete each project.  Sewers are encouraged to bring fabric from their stash to share with others so that unique creations can be made using the same basic patterns.  The end results can be spectacular.

While reservations are recommended (so we know how much supplies to prepare, food to cook, etc.) walk-ins are welcome on project day.  Stop in, call or e-mail us to register, ask questions, or provide suggestions for additional projects anytime.
